Hold ourselves before the Lord; our actions, our attitude, thoughts, and our heart; and allow him to reveal those things that are not in line with Him and Who He is, to us. This section of Scripture also sets the tone for where we are headed in Chapter 2. James begins to address specific actions, attitudes, and behaviors. Whether they reflect, or don't reflect, the character nature found in our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
