King David stated he was like a green olive tree planted in the House of the Lord, before the first Temple was constructed. He recognized where his life and being came from, because he sought to truly know the Lord. Not just what the Lord can do for me; but, the Lord's ways and His thoughts. And, passing the true knowledge of who the Lord is to future generations; so it will be well with them. This still applies to us today. Let's determine to truly know the Lord.
