Peter's obstacles to faith would be the obstacles or the hindrances that Peter would have to continuing to walk in obedience and the Lord was able to speak with him. And Peter took that opportunity to agree with God and obey like Lord, I know, this is what I thought beforehand and I don't understand everything that you know, but I know that I can trust you. And I know that you're good and you know what you're doing. And so I'm gonna go with me and take the next step. God always brings it all back to the fullness of what the Lord had shared with Peter and reinforcing it; over, and over, and over again. He is creating a hunger in us; and it's a place that only He can satisfy.

Cornelius was willing to just send his trusted soldier, and two of his servants, to do exactly what the Lord had instructed him to do. We also read about how he [Cornelius] literally prepared his whole household; and gathered them together in preparation for Peters arrival and for what the Lord was about to do. We're told, Cornelius had his prayers and arms had come up to the Lord. So there were things that he was requesting of the Lord; and there was clearly faith that the Lord was going to answer them completely.That's a testament to him, but also an example to us about his faith being an action.

We've been discussing friendship; that deep, personal, intimate relationship with the Lord. Jesus said, "You're my friends if you do what I command." So even in that, it's necessary to have that so then also with our our friends; or those we consider friends. Are they helping us in directing us to the Lord, to grow and mature and our relationship with Him? Or are they pulling us in the opposite direction, and in opposition to the Lord? Paul writes in Scripture that those that are led by the Spirit, these are the sons of God. Do we give the Lord place to have say in every area and aspect of our lives and matters? It matters to him first. But, it absolutely matters to us and for our lives. Let's seek first the kingdom. Seek first the Lord, His righteousness above everything else. Allow him to add and bless you; in accordance with the plan, the Destiny tract he has for your life.

For those of Him, that's Jesus, all the prophets bear witness that through His name; one who believes in Him, receives forgiveness of sin. In Revelation 19, it states that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. So it matters, because of the Father's love, He gave us grace by sending His Son. But it's for everyone; everyone that would believe. If you would believe you'll receive forgiveness for your sins, Doesn't matter how small or great some may view or consider them to be; Jesus died for literally everyone and every sin that could ever be committed, regardless of what some may say. That is His point and purpose in coming here to us; redemption and reconciliation to the Father.

God looks at the heart and He looks for people who will believe Him; regardless of where they come from. This only demonstrates the justice of God. It shows me the heart of God and the love of God and His peace. When he said, glad tidings and peace to all men. It wasn't just peace to the Jews, it was peace to whoever would choose to partake of righteousness through salvation and the Lord Jesus Christ.

When we come to Christ, we bring our own baggage that Christ desires to take from us in order that we would become conformed to His image. He doesn't condemn us. He is always reminding us how much He loves us; even when we miss the mark. He also wants His people to love others with His love throughout the entirety of the journey; during the refining process of being conformed to His image. We haven't arrived yet; however, we're moving forward in our walk with the Lord every day. We are striving to walk as our Lord and Savior does; doing what He says to do and saying what He says to say, so we see and can give grace to/for all people. I encourage you; don't just stay there (in the place you're at, dealing with the same things), choose to keep growing with/in Christ.

Wouldn't we love it if we only had to hear what the Lord said one time, and it was permanently settled down on us (in our heart) and we never needed to revisit it.But remember, Peter walked with and ate with Jesus, and you know slept next to him, and you camped with Him; however Peter is still being reminded of lessons taught to Him by Jesus during His time in ministry on earth. Lessons given in the Torah. As believers, we think okay, we're filled with the Holy Spirit we don't have a natural mind anymore. And I'm not saying carnally minded, but a natural mind that understands in the five senses; that remembers what it was taught, and recalls all of those things. And we forget sometimes that there has to be that renewing of the mind. in Second Peter, he stated he will always remind you, us of these things, even though we know them and are established why because it's good for us. If we need, first and foremost, the Holy Spirit to bring all things to our remembrance. Hearing what He is teaching you once is all well and good; but, it has to get down into our heart so we can live by it.

When we agree and join our faith to cooperate with the work of the Holy Spirit, we will begin to act and walk and think and see; just like Christ does. In his demonstration Barnabas was seeing Saul according to the Spirit; according to the new man, the new creation that he was in Christ Jesus. Treating him not as though he [Saul] was still in a carnal person or according to the flesh. Barnabas didn't treat him according to the flesh, but He treated Saul according to the Spirit according to Christ; Christ's opinion of him and the reconciliation Saul had received through believing in Christ Jesus. That's how we should all behave; and that's also a metric.

The Lord said no one takes my life but I willingly laying lay it down and we have that same authority in him. The adversary does not have a right to touch us to kill our physical body. So what that means is and what the Lord related to me was when Paul was talking and he said, whether it's better for me to be present with you, or present with the Lord. In other words Paul was still deciding on that. The Lord gives us a choice in the matter. Peter, in this instance, had a prophetic word concerning his life; and he stood on the Word of the Lord for himself in faith, and was delivered.

There's a lot of misconception concerning Christ; and that God being a different God, between the New Testament (e.g. A God of Grace) and Old Testament (A God of Wrath). That's why it's hard for people to connect the Scriptures. But when you see Him here, that's exactly what the apostles are doing. And, it's exactly what Jesus did during His earthly ministry. He [Jesus] gave them a correct and proper perspective of God from the beginning to present day. And thankfully, we have our brothers in Christ that have gone before us and and wrote the Word down that the Holy Spirit inspired them to do, so now we can see beginning to end; who God is, who Christ is. Because of our love for the Lord, we must demonstrate ourselves faithful,;to be obedient to all that the Lord's asked us to do. The Lord Jesus was giving The Holy Spirit with with no measurement or limit. Not because He was God, but because God could trust that Jesus was not there to do His own will. There was no part of the Messiah that was going to put the the the mission of Father God in jeopardy due to self will. Jesus said continually demonstrated over and over, He came to do the will of the Father who sent Him. That standpoint right there. That mindset that was in Jesus, qualified Him to have the Holy Spirit without limitation.

In Christ Jesus, you see him leading as God. You see him as judge. You see him as the Prophet. You see him as the king and ruler. Just like in the Tabernacle and the Temple, how everything pointed to Jesus. Even these different facets of the Lord guiding the people. Everything is still pointing to Jesus; because we can find all of these things in Christ Jesus. He is our God. He is our judge. He is the prophet. He's the one who leads us and gives us the Word of God. And, He is our King.

In the synagogue were people walking around pretending to love God, and had everyone convinced that fact. But, when the Truth showed up, what was in their heart was exposed; because of the word of God, bringing light caused, what was in them to come to the surface. They weren't able to hide anymore.

Do we immediately hear Him, clearly hear Him, accurately hear Him; and then act on His word, applying it to our lives and walk of faith? Seek the Holy Spirit, seek the Lord. Get his thoughts on it, let it pass by before Him. What is the Lord saying? What are His thoughts and His ways? What are what is He saying? And what is He doing? And what does He then want us to say and do about it? And how does He want us to say or how does He want to and how does He want us to do? Build upon that as a structure and a pattern. Make it a habit in your life to do that. It doesn't just happen overnight. You have to make the choice that's how you will approach everything in life in the Lord.
