Hebrews | Chapter 2:10-18 Pt. II (The Consistency of the Lord)

Episode 652 ~  Our God who does not change. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is Faithful and True. It is us who are inconsistent; and our inconsistency does not ever equate to the Lord being inconsistent toward us. 

Hebrews | Chapter 2:10-18 Pt. III (Temptation at its core is about Choosing to Be Faithful to the Lord)

Episode 653 ~ When it comes to every temptation, the option or question being asked is, are you going to remain faithful to what the father says, for you? Temptation is always an act; of are you going to the kingdom of God; or something else (another kingdom)? I encourage you today, to choose to remain faithful to the Lord; walking in His Covenant, on the destiny track He's set for you.

Hebrews | Chapter 2:10-18 Pt. IV (The Authority of the Lord requires Reverence)

Episode 654 ~ There is a Divine order in Lord's household. For those who have been drawn to the Door, which is Jesus the Christ, Whom created all things in Heaven and on Earth; and, are sons of God and approach Him with joy. We still have to show Him reverence when we approach our Heavenly Father. Don't forget He's still Almighty God; even though He's daddy, even though He's Abba. He's still our Lord and Savior; and has the position of power and authority above all.

Hebrews | Chapter 3:1-6 Pt. I (Christ Jesus; Faithful Son & the Creator)

Episode 655 ~ The Apostle Paul continues to provide a Doctoral Thesis, full of facts and evidence, to provide everything that you need, so that you can believe Jesus is the Christ. The Lord through Paul is laying that foundation of faith for his people (The Jews of the day); but not just for the Jews only did Paul write. We get to also enter in, and be joint heirs with Christ; if you will believe Jesus is Lord. 

Hebrews | Chapter 3:1-6 Pt. II (The Lord’s House; Constructed by Jesus)

Episode 656 ~ God is separating the people into two kingdoms. Either you're on God's side, and in God's Kingdom, or you're in the devil's. The Lord does not fall for masquerades or technicalities.  The True and Living God knows the thoughts and intents of the heart. He knows when wickedness is in the heart and what the intention of every action is.

Hebrews | Chapter 3:7-15 Pt. I (Your Faith Must be in Jesus)

Episode 657 ~ Faith is the currency the Kingdom of God operates in. The Lord is saying that today is the day of your salvation. He has already given you what you need. He gave you His Word; so put your faith, your hope, your trust in Him. And then, yes, receive what He's already done for you; when He redeemed us from death sin, and the curse when the Lord was crucified on the cross. 

Hebrews | Chapter 3:7-15 Pt. II (Engage Your Faith throughout the Earth Today...Don’t Delay)

Episode 658 ~ The children of Israel chose to put their faith in another god, another idol; and they aligned themselves to that thing.  They came out of the Divine Order and alignment of the Lord and place their their faith, their trust, their hope, and their future into another god; but then, still wanted to have the blessings and benefits that come with your faith being placed in the Lord. And, when it comes to the Lord God Almighty, you cannot have, or worship, both.

Hebrews | Chapter 3:7-15 Pt. III (Changing Your Heart)

Episode 659 ~ Sin looks the same with everyone. And by everyone, that's every individual person, every culture, every ethnicity, every society, and it looks the same across the board in every time period or era. So let's receive what the Lord has provided through Jesus the Christ (The Messiah) today. 

Hebrews | Chapter 3:16-19 Pt.I (What’s in Your Heart is Your Treasure)

Episode 660 ~ What is your treasure; or the desire of your heart? I hope it's the Lord. But, that's a choice and decision that you must make for you because it will manifest in various aspects of your life. While your words may be able to fool some and deceive some; the Lord knows the thoughts and intentions of the heart. He is not fooled; He is not mocked.

Hebrews | Chapter 3:16-19 Pt.II (What more does the Lord have to do for you to believe?)

Episode 661 ~ The Lord brought the children of Israel out of Egypt because He loved them, their forefathers, and their descendants. He has given us great grace and mercy, because He wants to bless us; because He loves us. Which is why He redeemed us from death, sin, and the curse through the cross. How much more does the Lord need to do to demonstrate His love to for you to believe?

Hebrews | Chapter 4:1-10 Pt. I (The Promise of the Lord’s Rest)

Episode 662 ~ God, when He was finished with Creation, rested from His good works. Rest is how we perceive but the change as well; what's truly stated here is that we rest from what we think we should do, to instead accomplish what God has for us to do. That in and of itself provides rest; simply by following His ways. His Way is easy, but requires obedience. His Way doesn't come at the sweat of our brow, which was found in the curse. The work that you're called do, is ordained by God.

Hebrews | Chapter 4:1-10 Pt. II (True Rest is Only Found in Jesus)

Episode 663 ~ We must keep the Faith, demonstrated through our obedience to the Lord; in enduring, in hope, and in rest. The true rest that is only found in the Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ (The Messiah).

Hebrews | Chapter 4:11-16 Pt. I (Examining our heart & dealing with it before the Lord)

Episode 664 ~ To have everything about you and your life, your desires, and everything about you laid open before God is a truly incredible thing; because now He has an opportunity to correct and to lead you in the way that produces life. 

Hebrews | Chapter 4:11-16 Pt. II (Letting the Lord have His Perfect Work in us)

Episode 665 ~ So realize, your need to receive the love of the Lord. Know that He wants your good; and He is working for your best interests according to His perfect Will.

Hebrews | Chapter 4:11-16 Pt. III (Do you mind being examined by the Lord?)

Episode 666 ~ Our Heavenly Father is always demonstrating His love toward us. This is not only found in the blessing and benefits He provides; it is also found in our refinement, as He's examining us. When you know you're not doing anything wrong, you don't mind being examined, but He knows when something's not quite right. He examines us, because of His love, so we can deal with those things. 

Hebrews | Chapter 4:11-16 Pt. IV (Receiving help from the Lord)

Episode 667 ~ Know who God is. We know that He is the Truth; and He's the only one who can help us in any situation. Boldly come before the Throne of Grace, asking for Him to help you ask; then receive. Come to the Lord and ask, so that you can get His help; the Lord's a willing helper, a willing participant. Remember, the promise of the Father was/is the Holy Spirit which was given to us to teach and guide us; so clearly He wants to help us.

Hebrews | Chapter 5:1-11 Pt. I (Jesus, Our Great High Priest)

Episode 668 ~ Jesus has already been the Sacrificial Lamb; shedding His blood to redeem us from death, sin, and the curse - purifying us before Himself. We just have to come in underneath Him. Enter into His Kingship; but also His Priesthood. He is the Great High Priest.

Hebrews | Chapter 5:1-11 Pt. II (The only One entitled to God’s Honor is Jesus)

Episode 669 ~ Something that's interesting about the Lord. When he talks to us about righteousness and the grace of God through the New Testament, He makes it clear that no one has earned that from Him - It's a gift. It's not owed to them because they've worked for it or anything of that nature. However, Christ did. Yes, he earned it with His perfect life and perfect obedience, and perfect sacrifice, and following the Lord in everything; and not straying, or failing to complete one jot or tiddle. He's the only One who is entitled to be honored by God, because He met the standard that God set for Him.

Hebrews | Chapter 5:1-11 Pt. III (Jesus; the Original Pattern & Example of High Priest)

Episode 670 ~ Jesus was always showing or demonstrating the love of God inside of His life [on Earth], and that's something very important. All the prior examples of the high priests were being refined; but, they weren't adding to the love One gave them, to bring them into life again. Only Jesus did.

Hebrews | Chapter 5:1-11 Pt. IV (Obedience to the Lord Results in Perfection in Your Life)

Episode 671 ~ We have to understand how we live our lives before the Lord, in relationship with Him because of love or in opposition to Him, determines or confirms what our choice is. We still have the obligation to make the correct choice; and should be in obedience with the words He's telling us through Holy Spirit's leading.

Hebrews | Chapter 5:12-14 Pt. I (What’s the Lord’s Testimony of Your Spiritual Maturity?)

Episode 672 ~ So the question we have to ask our ourselves is, where am I truly at with, or in, my walk with the Lord? Phrased another way is, what do we perceive our spiritual state or state of maturity to be? What's the Lord's testimony concerning our spiritual state? What's His perspective concerning us and our relationship with Him? Because, that perspective is the only One that matters; now and for eternity. 

Hebrews | Chapter 5:12-14 Pt. II (Unlearn Religiousness to Learn God & His Holiness)

Episode 673 ~ There are many religious traditions each one learns throughout their life. Some bring you deeper and more intimate relationship with the One True and Living God; while other traditions have become the object(s) or action(s) that people worship, because it entices the natural senses, feelings, emotions, thoughts (mind, will, and emotions). If the religious traditions are not actually bringing us into a deeper, more personal, and intimate relationship with the Lord; then we need to unlearn those things; and allow the Lord to teach us about Himself through Holy Spirit; so we can actually learn His thoughts and His ways, to apply them in our life. 

Hebrews | Chapter 5:12-14 Pt. III (Allowing God to Teach Us and Lead Us to Become More Like Him)

Episode 674 ~ We need to be standing by the Lord; and understanding Him in His righteousness. Then allowing him to teach us, so we can mature in order to become more like Him.

Hebrews | Chapter 6:1-12 Pt. I (Have You Chosen to Remain With the Lord?)

Episode 675 ~ If we love the Lord we will be willing and obedient to do all He commands us. If we have determined to be in rebellion or opposition to the Lord and Holy Spirit's leading, creating discord between the other members of the Household; are we truly part of His Family? If you now realize the error of your ways, repent and be restored in relationship with our Heavenly Father; and purpose to remain with Him, now and throughout eternity. 

Hebrews | Chapter 6:1-12 Pt. II (Hardline Choices)

Episode 676 ~ We continue to discuss choosing to remain with the Lord by examining two things that a Believer or Christian must never be involved in: The first is Blaspheming the Holy Spirit. And, the second is taking the mark of the beast. Engaging in either of these actions is a hardline choice, from which there remains no renewal to repentance. 

Hebrews | Chapter 6:1-12 Pt. III (Holding Fast)

Episode 677 ~ Have you set your heart and mind to cling or hold firm to the Lord for everything, in every area in your life, now and for your eternity? Will you hold fast even when trials and challenges come your way, seeking to take your off of the destiny track the Lord has for your life?

Hebrews | Chapter 6:13-20 Pt. I (Similarity between Us, and Abraham and the Lord)

Episode 678 ~ We are called to truly trust in the Lord; with our whole heart. Even when we don't yet see the manifestation of His oath and promises; or His Covenant. Let's set our hearts to believe the One who holds His Word above His Name; and to His Name [Jesus] every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus the Christ is Lord. 

Hebrews | Chapter 6:13-20 Pt. II (Our Role in the Covenant & Promises of the Lord)

Episode 679 ~ The promises of the Lord, made to Abraham, are contained in His Covenant - They are sure. Abraham, also had a part, and role, in the Covenant demonstrating love for the Lord and active faith in His Word though obedience; just like we must for our life, today. 

Hebrews | Chapter 6:13-20 Pt. III (The Word of the Lord Speaks on Myriad Layers)

Episode 680 ~ The all-powerful Word of the Lord, operates on a much higher level, and depth beyond what we are able to comprehend. While an individual may partially understand His Word, concerning one area or aspect of their life; when we allow to the Lord to reveal all the ways His Word had impact, we can't help but be truly amazed at the the reach beyond time, space (distance), situations, and circumstances - For His Glory and to bless you. 

Hebrews | Chapter 7:1-19 Pt. I (Types and Shadows of Jesus as a Forerunner)

Episode 681 ~ Throughout the Scriptures, there a number of people that went ahead of the Lord as a type a shadow of what Christ Jesus would do (fulfill) during His Earthly Ministry; while being the Pattern and Example in preparation for His second coming. 

Hebrews | Chapter 7:1-19 Pt. II (Jesus is the Greatest!)

Episode 682 ~ In this portion of the letter (epistle) to the Hebrews (The Jews of the day through the lineage of Abraham), the Lord through the Apostle Paul began laying out the hierarchy from the beginning; so all could understand that Jesus is greater than everyone else esteemed and honored. 

Hebrews | Chapter 7:1-19 Pt. III (The Signature of God’s Family)

Episode 683 ~ Every family in heaven and on earth, has certain distinct characteristics that distinguish its members from another family. There is no difference for those that are part of the Lord's Family. 

Hebrews | Chapter 7:1-19 Pt. IV (Jesus’ Lordship & Great High Priesthood)

Episode 684 ~ The Lord through the Apostle Paul addresses why Jesus is a Great High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek, instead of Aaron and the Levites; in order to help his fellow brethren, the Hebrews (Jews) and all of us today, properly understand Jesus' eternal role as King of kings and Lord of lords. 

Hebrews | Chapter 7:20-28 Pt. I (Order set by the Lord)

Episode 685 ~ Divine Order can only be established by the Lord, because His Word is the only word that stands. When He spoke, the thing was established. Your role then, is to come into His Divine Order and alignment with His Word; for / in every area and aspect of your life.

Hebrews | Chapter 7:20-28 Pt. II (Blessings & Promises of Faithfulness)

Episode 686 ~ The blessings and promises of God are yes, and Amen. Our amen, or choice to enter into agreement with Him, is demonstrated through our faithfulness to be obedient to the Lord's leading through Holy Spirit; positioning us to receive His best in our life. He is looking for someone to whom He can show Himself strong on their behalf. 

Hebrews | Chapter 7:20-28 Pt. III (The Character of Our Great High Priest)

Episode 687 ~ The Lord was only ever trustworthy to the Will of our Heavenly Father; which is why Jesus is the Great High Priest forever. There never needs to be another one, because there isn't anyone before of after Him that is uncorrupted by sin. Jesus is only ever obedient to the Heavenly Father, and we should follow His pattern and example in our daily life. 

Hebrews | Chapter 8:1-6 Pt. I (The Access Given to Us)

Episode 688 ~ As a result of work fulfilled our Great High Priest, Jesus the Christ, the veil that separated us from the Father is torn; and we as sons and daughters, have direct access to our Heavenly Father.

Hebrews | Chapter 8:1-6 Pt. II (Building According to the Pattern)

Episode 689 ~ Jesus the Christ, our Great High Priest, is the pattern and example for us to follow. He is the pattern shown on the mountain to Moses, when He received the instructions on how to make the Tabernacle (Tent of Meeting) and all of the Furnishings. Let's examine our life, seeking the Lord's testimony to see if we are building according to His pattern.

Episode 690 ~ The Apostle Paul writes about two Covenants: One given under the Mosaic Law. And, another founded upon Jesus the Christ. Let's learn about the similarities, and differences, between the Covenants. 

Hebrews | Chapter 8:7-13 Pt. II (Knowing the Lord; letting Him Teach us about Himself)

Episode 691 ~ Knowing the Lord only happens through a true relationship; and spending time with Him. The more time we are willing to spend in His presence, allowing the Lord to teach us through His Holy Spirit; He will teach us about Himself - His ways and His thoughts. So we can apply them to our life; to accomplish the things that glorify the Heavenly Father. 

Hebrews | Chapter 8:7-13 Pt. III (Walking in Faith; the Process of Conforming to Christ)

Episode 692 ~ We are called to be as Christ is, in this world. That process of becoming conformed to the image of Jesus the Christ happens as we learn to reciprocate His love to the same extent He gave it to wards us, learn to completely trust Him in every situation and circumstance, and place our hope (our future) in His Hands; further demonstrating our faith (trust) in Him. 

Hebrews | Chapter 8:7-13 Pt. IV (Building Our Faith in the Lord)

Episode 693 ~ In Past times the Lord delivered Israel out of the situations, circumstances, and trials they found themselves in due to not following the Lord. When Israel sought the Lord with all their heart, and He delivered them; and they put their faith (trust) in Him. However, there was a flip flopping when it came to obedience in the daily instructions to the Lord; instead of building their faith in the Lord God, Whom already demonstrated His love and goodness towards them. Ensure you, in/for your life, recognize what the Lord's done in your life (both, the large and/or the seemingly insignificant things); and continue to put your trust in Him for everything.

Hebrews | Chapter 9:1-10 Pt. I (The Earthly Sanctuary and Priestly Service Directs Us to Jesus)

Episode 694 ~ Every detail provided to Moses on the Mountain, so He could create a copy of what existed in Heaven; and the instructions for the Priesthood, all direct us to the One whom fulfilled all those things - His Name is Jesus, and He is the Christ! 

Hebrews | Chapter 9:1-10 Pt. II (Have watered-down examples degraded your faith?)

Episode 695 ~ The Lord always provides examples, copies of things that exist in the Heavenlies; which is why heroes of the Faith were instructed to see that they made everything according to the Pattern. As those things have been removed or torn down, and efforts to reconstruct them have taken place; does the copy of the copy  of the copy still display the same Glory? Or is it now of a degraded quality; that if your focus has shifted toward the copy of what exists in the Heavenlies, instead of the Original, has resulted in degrading your Faith? 

Hebrews | Chapter 9:1-10 Pt. III (Is the Presence/Glory of the Lord in Your Life tangible?)

Episode 696 ~ The Tent of Meeting (Tabernacle), and in Solomon's Temple, the Presence / Glory of the Lord rested there, in the Holy of Holies. The Lord's Presence / Glory was readily observable to the point of being something that people could feel it (tangible). For Believers, you are the Temple of the Lord. The Fullness of the Godhead lives and dwells in you. So, is the Presence / Glory of the Lord tangible to those around you?

Hebrews | Chapter 9:11-15 Pt. I (Jesus’ Blood; the Requirement for Eternal Redemption)

Episode 698 ~ As Jesus served, both as The Great High Priest Whom needed no sacrifice and as the Sacrificial Lamb to have His Blood placed on the Mercy Seat for our redemption; We, those who choose to Believe in Jesus, have received a greater redemption. Not on that was temporary, as observed in the Old Testament until the destruction of the Second Temple; but one that remains for Eternity for those that love the Lord Jesus the Christ - Who came from eternity and will remain for eternity. 

Hebrews | Chapter 9:11-15 Pt. II (Jesus’ Redeeming Sacrifice; Once, For All)

Episode 699 ~ Jesus' redeeming work on the Cross, further highlights His Divinity. He shed His blood once, for all - for eternity. There is no need for His blood to be shed again, like the blood of bulls, goats, and lambs throughout history; up to Jesus' Earthly Ministry. His grace, which is freely given, must be received by placing our faith in Him. 

Hebrews | Chapter 9:11-15 Pt. III (Understanding Jesus and what He’s offering)

Episode 700 ~ Jesus best is what He's offering to each and every one of us. There is no partiality; it is freely offered to all. All of it was offered even while we were enemies to Him. Will we enter into relationship with Him, to truly know and understand Him; and what it is He's truly offering to us?

Hebrews | Chapter 9:16-22 Pt. I (The Testament of Jesus)

Episode 701 ~ Jesus' Covenant is His will. He made it and gave it to us, as the beneficiary; to receive all the blessings and benefits contained within His Covenant.
