1 Thessalonians | Chapter 3:6-13 Pt. I (Understanding the God Kind of Love)

Episode 754 ~ There's only one kind of love that's the source of all things, and that's the God kind of love. The God kind of love is what can deliver and set people free; it's what causes us to stay in the God kind of love is what causes our faith to prevail.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 3:6-13 Pt. II (Fatherly Love)

Episode 755 ~ Fatherly love is best represented in how the Lord demonstrates His love towards us, but also. Now Paul's love towards these individuals is similar, as there's both a looking over (examining) and looking out for things that may attempt to wear down their Faith; but also an encouragement for them to get to the place where they (now, you also) are doing this in your life.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 4:1-8 Pt. I (Measurable Application of Purity & Holiness)

Episode 756 ~ Here are things that you can use to measure where you're at; to examine yourself in the Walk of Faith; as the Lord, through the Apostle Paul is providing instruction to the Thessalonians. Let's remember this still applies to us, today. 

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 4:1-8 Pt. II (Spiritual Implications)

Episode 757 ~ Jesus stated that His brothers are those Will of Father. We must utilize the Word as a mirror with measurable, actionable items, so we can examine ourselves to find out if we're truly applying the Word of God in our life, and in practice holding us before for righteousness and justice. That includes how we treat our brother and sister; because it's not so much them that we are treating them, but what we are doing toward them is actually being done to the Lord Himself.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 4:9-12 Pt. I (Brotherly Love)

Episode 758 ~ the Apostle Paul was exhorting the Thessalonians, that they should grow and not remain as spiritual infants. The same thing is required of us. And, isn't that part of the fruit that follows; as your spiritual and natural maturity is our reward. You're [the Thessalonians] the fruit of the things that we have labored in the Lord for; so you can see the fruit also.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 4:9-12 Pt. II (Leading or Living A Quiet Life)

Episode 759 ~ We're instructed to Aspire to lead or live a quiet life. Aspire is to strives\, purpose, aim for; diligently, like you're aggressively going this life. Which includes the Fruit of the Spirit; which is ultimately is to be pleasing to the Lord. The Apostle Paul is telling the Thessalonians that he aims to preach the Gospel (demonstrating the Walk of Faith in my life, and through The Lord's Word) to those that were not yet believers; while exhorting them to do the same. 

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 4:13-18 (The Hope & Glory of Christ's Return)

Episode 760 ~ The Lord through the Apostle Paul addresses the culture the Thessalonians found themselves in. And, in spite of all the wickedness they found themselves surrounded by, the Lord is letting them know to continue in Him; as He is the right track. And if you're following the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength; then you're on the right path in Christ Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life; what He offers is the Truth.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 5:1-8 Pt. I (Keeping Your Eye On The Prize)

Episode 761 ~ The Lord isn't trying to steal this opportunity way from us, as the adversary would try to twist and make us believe; the Lord's trying to gift us this opportunity. But, in order to receive the gift, you've gotta be at the right place at the right time. In order to have the cake, and the little noisemakers, and the presents for the party; you actually have to be in the location of the party. So to particular Kingdom of the Lord, you've gotta be where He told you to be, at the time He told you to be there; because that is the location of the party. You have to bring your invitation to the right spot. Otherwise you miss out Amen. And you know, for us, this is a reminder is also to keep your eye on the prize.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 5:1-8 Pt. II (Your Role in the End-Times)

Episode 762 ~ the Lord through Paul, begins encouraging right by letting the Thessalonians now, the Times and Seasons previously talked about; everything is coming through the Holy Spirit. While also reminding them, and us, we need to be in tune to Holy Spirit concerning everything; every area and aspect of our life. Letting God be God.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 5:9-11 (The Inheritance of the Saints)

Episode 763 ~ God loves you, and He has gone out of His way to make sure that you're not separated from Him for any moment. He's not willing that we should spend one second away from Him. He wants you all the way, all the time, every day; and He wants you to be eternally connected to Him.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 5:12-22 Pt. I (Spiritual Preparedness)

Episode 764 ~ The Lord, through the Apostle Paul, is telling us to be spiritually mature and astute. To do our due diligence; don't just be tickled because the words are pleasing to your flesh. We must stay vigilant and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal The Truth to you; and then stand on what the Lord has already said. Connect yourself with the goodness of the Lord, utilizing the Spiritual Weapons and Authority He's provided to you, and remain there.

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 5:12-22 Pt. II (The Maturing on the Inside of Us)

Episode 765 ~ The instruction that God gives us, helps us to view ourselves; but also know how to interact with others, from who we are internally and the growth that's taking place in us - the maturing that's taking place on the inside of us. So, just appreciated that that part of the Lord's process in your life. 

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 5:23-28 Pt. I (The Coming of the Lord)

Episode 766 ~ The Lord, through Paul, begins describing the Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just as the Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, we should be examining our conduct to see if these spiritual actions are a consistent part of our life and conduct. Are they as much a part of our nature, character, and conduct; as we find they were in Jesus' time on earth?

1 Thessalonians | Chapter 5:23-28 Pt. II (Satisfy Your Hope in Jesus)

Episode 767 ~ The time is drawing near, but it is not that time yet. So keep your focus on the Lord, because Holy Spirit is not going to allow us to be caught off guard; if our desire is to be pleasing to Him and to satisfy His Perfect Will. That He's desiring to bring forth through us in this world. He will do it; and He will make sure that we don't miss anything.

2 Thessalonians | Introduction & Overview

Episode 768 ~ In the 2nd Epistle (Letter) to the Thessalonians, we continue to receive understanding about  what it looks like to stand for the Lord. The Lord was saying to us: This is where My people combine the lessons learned throughout the previous study's in Acts (Learning what it looks like to Live out Your Faith), Ephesians (Entering into Divine Alignment), and Hebrews (Developing and Unshakable Faith); to now get into the actual Battle. Waging spiritual warfare for the Lord as He directs His End-Time Army in Victory. 

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 1:1-8 Pt. I (The Importance of Hope)

Episode 769 ~ We must understand how important hope is to the Believer. Without hope there's nothing to hook or connect your faith to. There's no target for your faith. And subsequently, there's no reason to move on or continue to endure if you have no hope. So the the Lord, through the Apostle Paul, here is telling the Thessalonians to look up; and focus on what is actually important - The the depth of your Father's love for you. The Heavenly Father's strength and the salvation that comes to you through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; and, remember the patience, or steadfastness, of the Saints.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 1:1-8 Pt. II (Gaining Experience in the Things of God)

Episode 770 ~ The Thessalonians are growing up in the things of the Lord, but they lack experience; which is why the Lord is ministering to the Apostle Paul, who was once himself growing rapidly and understanding some of the the points of God. But, he [Paul] lacked experience on how to judge or properly discern what was happening in his life; and the Holy Spirit had to teach him. And then he began to walk it out and gain experience. So the Lord is using the experience that he's already poured into the Apostle Paul, to now pour into these who are growing up in the things of the Lord.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 1:1-8 Pt. III (Allowing the Lord to Develop His Focus in Us)

Episode 771 ~ When we allow the Lord to develop that focus, we are able to accomplish the destiny track and the plan that God has given us. Specifically as a human, we know that God has given us, every person, a specific destiny tracking plan that is ultimately going to further the Gospel; and it's up to us to be obedient to that plan, and to walk it forward as an accomplishment of the Lord's Glory. 

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 1:9-12 (Letting God Cultivate and Shape Us)

Episode 772 ~ As we're focusing, and loins forward to, on that Great Day that our Lord and Savior returns, let's make sure we're being made worthy of the calling of God. Oh that we would let God cultivate us and shape us so that we're worthy; because, we cannot make ourselves worthy of of the calling that He has for our particular lives, and fulfill His good pleasure. The good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of faith; with power within us that's all needed. So we can be ready, a people prepared for the Lord, for that that day.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 2:1-10 Pt. I (Your Redemption Draws Nigh)

Episode 773 ~ The Antichrist, or spirit of the age, the adversary is working in and through those that will participate with this plan. So the Lord through Paul is telling and encouraging the Thessalonians not to enter into participation with the adversary; because, it will bring you back into bondage. We today, just like the Thessalonians, must remain steadfast, in the God kind of love, and In faith. Looking out for those strengthen those that are around you. We should always be looking for the redemption and the saving of the human that's currently being used by the adversary. We should always be looking for their redemption and want that open door with hope to remain open for them; while we take it (the battle) to the devil, in order to deliver many, reconciling them back to our Heavenly Father.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 2:1-10 Pt. II (Understanding the Times and Seasons)

Episode 774 ~ There's just a lot to understand, especially as we are moving into different times and seasons. Be of the heart and the mind that you are gonna follow God no matter what, no matter who else is there or who's not there, and that your hope is squarely in Him; not in the abundance of people going forward, or the abundance of people applauding you, or the abundance of people cheering, or downloading your content, or attending your meetings. Choose, commit, that you're going to stay focused and steadfast with the Lord.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 2:11-17 Pt. I (Love of the Truth)

Episode 775 ~ Whatever it is that God is saying to us, even if it's a hard concept to grasp or something that's outside what we wanted it to be emotionally, we need to be willing to state, I" don't care what I thought, Jesus, just tell me what you're saying. Tell me what the truth is; because, I want the truth." We must have a desire for the truth; because, God's word is truth. Jesus is the word of God; everything about God is truth.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 2:11-17 Pt. II (The Lord's Investment in Us Making it)

Episode 776 ~ If there's anything out of alignment with the Lord, it's us. And, we take comfort in knowing that the Lord is invested in us making it to our eternal destination with Him. He is. Deeply invested and He's given us His grace and hope that we can look at to know our heart is clean before God; and we're moving forward with Him. And as we grow with God, know He's always going to be there. He's going to help us as long as we desire to walk and continue to move forward with Him.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 3:1-5 Pt. I (Being a Trendsetter by Upholding the Lord's Standard)

Episode 777 ~ We're supposed to be trendsetters. We're supposed to set the standard; fulfilled by upholding the Standard that the Father has already set for us in Christ Jesus. Continue to walk with that pattern and example.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 3:1-5 Pt. II (Confidence in the Lord's Love & Faithfulness)

Episode 778 ~ If we really want that honor that God is giving us, we first must be obedient to everything God has told us; and constantly allow God to preserve us. He should not have to continually persuade us of His love for us; but being fully persuaded, understand that the Holy Spirit has already done that. And, because that has occurred, we can have full confidence inside what God is giving us; and what God is doing.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 3:6-12 (Making Ourselves an Example)

Episode 779 ~ We are ambassadors on behalf of the Lord Jesus Christ, so we maintain what He commanded. We have this ability. The father gave us this authority, to use it  to demonstrate to you an example of how the Lord Jesus the Christ behaved.

2 Thessalonians | Chapter 3:13-18 (Standing in Obedience before the Lord)

Episode 780 ~ Don't grow weary and doing good. What is doing good? Keeping yourself to say and do exactly what the Lord says to say and do; in the place He sends you to. Keeping yourself in obedience to the Lord in all things. We must remain in obedience.

Episode 781 ~ Join us as we conclude this study of 1 & 2 Thessalonians; sharing some of the things that stood out as the Lord ministered, and providing insight into what the Lord is commanding us to do next.  We will begin a study of the Book of James on 2/21/2024.

James | Chapter 1:1-4 (Placement and Testing of Your Faith)

Episode 783 ~ Patience is a persevering in spite of trials. It is persevering in spite of all the obstacles, hinderances, and challenges - This is the patience or the steadfastness of the Saints. When your Faith is tested, will you stand for the Lord? Will you continue to wage spiritual warfare on His behalf; standing in Him and in your faith?

James | Chapter 1:5-8 Pt. I (Wisdom: Staying Committed to God)

Episode 784 ~  Staying committed to God is a matter of our heart. It is determined by our willingness to follow the Lord, His Word and His Ways; even when it doesn't look or reflect what we imagined His plan would come to pass / look like. Are we willing to follow the Lord then; trusting Him, even when we don't quite understand, because He is God?

James | Chapter 1:5-8 Pt. II (Choose Life: Remove Doubt & Double Mindedness)

Episode 785 ~ Doubt always looks the same. It doesn't matter if it's those that followed Jesus in the New Testament, or if it's the Children of Israel in the Old Testament; we have to choose life. When we consistently choose to listen and obey the Lord, and His Word, it will be well with you, and your children, and your children's children; the future generations. 

James | Chapter 1:5-8 Pt. III (Desiring the Lord's Way)

Episode 786 ~ The only One who's trustworthy is the Lord God. Everyone else is questionable. All these things the Lord has for us to fulfill on the Destiny Track He's set for us, is about just doing things so Lord's way; without doubting. Removing, double mindedness from your life. Consider that those whom are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. We must choose to follow the Lord or decide if we will go another way; that is the practical application side of the Walk of Faith. 

James | Chapter 1:9-11 Pt. I (Exercising Discernment Pt. I)

Episode 787 ~ Are you able to discern or judge between the holy and the profane? In whatever is said or done, wherever or through whomever it comes from; it is absolutely necessary that we know if it's from the Lord; or it's from the adversary. 

James | Chapter 1:9-11 Pt. II (Exercising Discernment Pt. II)

Episode 788 ~ Scripture tells us those that are righteous will approve, or appraise, all things; there's no need for anyone to judge him - Because he's already doing it in his own life concerning himself. The key part that we have to understand: Discernment comes from our Heavenly Father, through his Holy Spirit; Who examines thoughts and intentions of the heart, Each one's heart, while also searches out the deep things of the Lord. So when we receive this wisdom, we're asking for The Lord to show us the deep secret hidden things; in His Word and as it applies to the situation at hand.

James | Chapter 1:12-18 Pt. I (The Messiah's Example: Even in Temptations & Trials)

Episode 789 ~ in order to to receive that discernment that comes from the Lord, you have to be willing to listen to Him; and, then be obedient to what He says. Are youre desirous and okay with being led by God the Father through His Holy Spirit; that was Jesus the Messiah's example. That's exactly what He blatantly demonstrated to us, is that He was willing to be led; even though he had all this right, all this ability, all this power, all this capability given by God the Father - This is why He is, and was, and is special and important. Jesus was willing to be led, even thought he had due rights to things. He [Jesus] was still willing to be led and stay under the hand of God, and the power of the Father as his Father, as God, to be led by him entirely.

James | Chapter 1:12-18 Pt. II (What has God given you, that satan is trying to steal?)

Episode 790 ~ God has given us everything we will even need to fulfill what He's purposed for you to accomplish, on the Destiny track He has for you. You're gonna have to hold fast to what the Lord's told you to do, and you're gonna have to meditate on His Word favorably to persevere; however, He's given you literally everything that pertains to your life and to godliness. The children of Israel, in the wilderness, even had some extras and stuff they didn't even know they needed or wanted. So for us, what is it that God has already given you that the adversary is trying to get you to throw down and cast away?

James | Chapter 1:12-18 Pt. III (Every Good and Perfect thing is from the Lord)

Episode 791 ~ Every good and perfect thing comes from the Lord above; in Whom there is no deviation or shadow of turning. He only does righteously, and His works are good. From the foundation of the world, He is only a good God absolutely all the time. As we walk with God and the Lord gives us more, we're able to ask, receive what we've asked, and also grow closer to God; which is our ultimate goal as we walk our lives out on the earth. 

James | Chapter 1:19-21 Pt. I (Let the Truth of God bring You Forth)

Episode 792 ~ The connotation and the connection is here is let Truth give birth to you. God and His Word is truth; it's impossible for God to lie. So, let God bring you forth. Because. If you don't, you won't be able to connect with Him and the things of righteousness. Let the word of truth bring you forth, and that's what giving birth means. There's a whole process to someone starting their journey in the earth. 

James | Chapter 1:19-21 Pt. II (Aligning Yourself with the Word of Truth)

Episode 793 ~ Being those who received the truth and are willing to subdue our flesh and our natural carnality; must choose that I'm gonna align myself with you Lord, and the Word of Truth, so that I'm able to get to the end result, which is the Lord wants. Your carnal mind may attempt to tell you this is how I've always done it, so this is what I'm gonna continue to do Lord; and You [Lord]  just better get in line with it. I tell you to remove and rebuke that mentality, and that that mindset that attempts to order the Lord around, from your life. 

James | Chapter 1:22-27 Pt. I (Bringing Knowledge & Awareness of God)

Episode 794 ~ God sending His Son to live a spotless life; He [Jesus] was raised to bring awareness in the knowledge of God. A Bible verse cannot make you worship God. It cannot make you appreciate Him. It cannot make you live as a sinless, spotless life. It cannot make you Holy just looking at a Scripture and of itself; but, the knowledge and awareness of God in you, now can produce something. If that knowledge is received; written on the tablet of your heart.

James | Chapter 1:22-27 Pt. II (Doers of the Work in the Perfect Law of Liberty)

Episode 795 ~ The Lord through His Word has provided us a door, so we can look at the perfected. That doesn't mean you trying to look at the Lord's face, but to see God truly intimately, personally, and deeply; and what he created for us. This is the doorway to the perfect Law of Liberty; to escape the snares of the adversary, to escape death, doom, despair and destruction satan's trying to bring.

James | Chapter 1:22-27 Pt. III (Vanity or Fulfillment)

Episode 796 ~ The Lord is saying don't waste your time looking at yourself and then going away without remembering who Christ is; who he is in you, and what he's done for you. Because if you go away and forget, you've just wasted your time; you're striving after the wind - Vanity, emptiness. That same concept that Solomon relates in Ecclesiastes. God is telling us, in the book of James, if you want to say that you're close to God, be close to God. Do what He's asking you to do.

James | Chapter 1:22-27 Pt. IV (Observing Yourself before The Lord)

Episode 797 ~When we examine ourself before the Lord, and His Word, what are we looking for? we talked about this in the previous episode. Hold ourselves before the Lord; our actions, our attitude, thoughts, and our heart; and allow him to reveal those things that are not in line with Him and Who He is, to us. This section of Scripture also sets the tone for where we are headed in Chapter 2. James begins to address specific actions, attitudes, and behaviors. Whether they reflect, or don't reflect, the character nature found in our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.

James | Chapter 2:1-9 Pt. I (Do Nothing with Partiality)

Episode 798 ~ Let's truly understand the why we're not to do things in partiality. When we operate in partiality we've stepped away from the Lord. When that happens, even momentarily, we are unable to function in the things that are described in the first chapter: Wisdom, Faith, and Discernment; which impact our entire life and walk before the Lord.  

James | Chapter 2:1-9 Pt. II (God has no favorites)

Episode 799 ~ There's no favorites in the Kingdom of God. The Lord doesn't love us all, and love one more than the rest,  because that would be partiality. And, He [the Lord] is no respecter of persons.

James | Chapter 2:1-9 Pt. III (Demonstrating the Love of God to Our Neighbor)

Episode 800 ~ When we interact with anyone, just come with the love of God; determining in your heart to demonstrate that I love you, just as I love myself. Just as the Lord loves me, so I also love you. When we truly put this into practice in our life, we will treat everyone equally; it won't matter who we speak with, what they look like,  or what they've done. They will experience the love of God, though you. 

James | Chapter 2:10-13 Pt. I (The Love of God Covers a Multitude of Sins)

Episode 801 ~ The Heavenly Father has called us into His grace and mercy through his Son Jesus Christ. So, stop being prideful in your mindset and your attitude and. Consider what this truly means for you; The Lord doesn't want us to be selfish in nature. He's already called us to have the same heart that was in our Lord and Savior; to love our neighbor as ourselves. Remember, love does no harm to a neighbor. 

James | Chapter 2:10-13 Pt. II (Mercy Demonstrates the real Power of God)

Episode 802 ~ Since we're talking about condemnation and being led by the Lord, how we're to function right the practicality, practical application part of this says. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Also, "As many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God." We've been given the instruction, guidance, and direction, on how we are to walk; being pleasing to the Lord, glorifying Him and loving our neighbor as ourself. Not allowing the adversary to attempt to burden us with the things of the past. 

James | Chapter 2:14-19 Pt. I (Be Willing to be Led by God)

Episode 803 ~ If you believe in the Lord; be led by Him. Abraham was led by God. He were led by Holy Spirit to do certain things, and he did those things because he believed God; that was the culmination of his Faith. Be willing to be led by the Lord. And, whatever He says to you, do it. Which does mean that you have to learn how to be prompted by the Lord; and, you have to take forth the effort to do it. That is the difference between us and the devil.
