God is no Respecter of Persons

Zechariah | Chapter 2:1-13 Pt. IV ~ Episode 853:
You can address every situation and circumstance with the Lord. In everything that affects you; ask the Lord, What do You say? What should I do; how do You want me to handle this situation? And; because I know God's character and His nature doesn't change; and, that He's no respecter of persons, I don't have to be afraid that God's gonna leave me hanging in the wind. Making me pay the penalty for someone else; and/or to be mistreated while they're seemingly getting away with it. Christ did that for me. He sure took that suffering in that penalty that was fully due me.

God is Lord of All

Zechariah | Chapter 2:1-13 Pt. V ~ Episode 854:
The Lord is the One that is wronged when we sin against Him. Not other people; even though you may feel like the action was against you. You are called to be a fragrance to life; diffusing the fragrance of the Lord everywhere He sends you. In order to do that we must function, in all things, in a way that's pleasing to the Lord. He is the Lord of all!

A Behind the Scenes Look at Salvation

Zechariah | Chapter 3:1-5 Pt. I ~ Episode 855:
This is what salvation looks like, if we could see it behind the scenes. The human is a sinner, prior to coming to Christ; and, Satan does everything that he can to accuse and to prevent. every human from being reconciled or restored. Or, finding grace and favor in the sight of God. Satan's goal and objective is to take them to Hell; forever. But, you see what happened...The Lord rebuked the devil [Satan]; then cleaned, clothed, restored, and anointed Joshua to fulfill his ministry, as High Priest, before the Lord.

Being Ready for the Season

Zechariah | Chapter 3:1-5 Pt. II ~ Episode 856:
The Lord's sending prophets go and speak, ministering to the people; and the leaders. He's having everything fire in full effect and potential; every help, aid, and opportunity. That they are completely aware of the season they're in; so they can step into it and they walk in it, as the Lord purposed. This still / also applies to us today - Pick your face up. You may have been discouraged. You may have been sitting under the tree like Lord, I've been here for nine and nine years waiting for everybody to get on board. I forgot about it. I'm tired, I've been growing old. Whatever the excuse or reasoning is; it does not matter. Get your face up and pursue Christ. Be in the season and in the moment with Him.

Conforming to the Image of Christ Jesus

Zechariah | Chapter 3:1-5 Pt. III ~ Episode 857:
These that are being used by the Lord to cooperate in the work of restoration, that's still Israel; even though at the time they were in captivity. The Lord was bringing them back. He was really pairing and bringing about restoration, and that's what He's doing in this time and season; while also showing us our role. It is to be conformed to the image of Christ Jesus. And, in order to do that, we have to function the same way Jesus did. In this Passage of Scripture we're told not to value or say your own words. Isn't it stated by Jesus that He did nothing of His own initiative? And, the Father has given Him a command of what to speak. This is the exact way we are called and instructed to function, today; in your walk of Faith before the Lord. This is what it looks like to be conformed to the image of Christ Jesus. 

Walk in His Ways

Zechariah | Chapter 3:6-10 Pt. I ~ Episode 858:
When we're walking in His ways and pleasing in His sight, even our enemies will be at rest with us. They won't be able to do steal, kill and destroy like the adversary would have them do. They have to bow their knee to Jesus. So, are you walking in the Lord's ways; in an active relationship with Him? 

Jesus' Preeminence

Zechariah | Chapter 3:6-10 Pt. II ~ Episode 859:
We are encouraged to get your eyes off of what you think God is; and,  get your eyes on to what God actually is. That's right in regards to us today, and for the Jewish people doing the work of restoration. What they expected Messiah was going to be, was not what He came as. They expected to see a Hulk of a man, tall, powerful, and a warrior from His birth. That's what they expected but that's not what happened. Jesus was a warrior in the spiritual realm, but He wasn't what they were looking for in the natural realm; and, as such, they missed and they disregarded His Word. Are you operating from the Lord' perspective; or, your perspective? Only operating from His perspective puts us in Divine alignment to what He's doing; and will do. 

Command & Example of Walking in Obedience

Zechariah | Chapter 3:6-10 Pt. III ~ Episode 860:
Joshua the high priest was cleaned up, the ministry was cleaned up, he was purified, made clean, and then the Lord gives him this charge. It's not just because he's in leadership. This is what the Lord is requiring of all his disciples; all who would call on the name of the Lord. That's what is what's required and can be observed throughout the entirety of the Word of God.

The Lord's Grace upon Grace

Zechariah | Chapter 4:1-14 Pt. I ~ Episode 861:
The overview explanation of this chapter of Zechariah can be summed up in the calling out of the shouts given as the Capstone is put in place. Which, Scripture typically refers to Grace. And a Grace upon Grace given to the world by Christ exemplified in the Capstone.

Divine Order & Alignment with the Lord and His Grace

Zechariah | Chapter 4:1-14 Pt. II ~ Episode 862:
The House [of the Lord] must be in order first. And then she [the Church, Body of Christ, His Bride] would extend the order to the government. That order also means in position. Sometimes when we hear about order, we tend to start thinking somebody's in trouble; somebody's sinning. The Lord did deal with sin; and, also means into position. We must be in alignment with the Lord's plan; and, positioned where He's directed us to be, to fulfill our role in His plan. 

The Lord Provides the Way of Success

Zechariah | Chapter 4:1-14 Pt. III ~ Episode 863:
The Lord has provided a means. For us to be successful. And, it's His way of doing things; His way of being. Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit; doing things the way that God said. Jesus overcame by submitting to the Father, not by resisting Holy Spirit. Those that are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. He always leads us in triumph and processional. That's what Christ does. He leads us to victory. He leads us in triumph. If we will say and do what He's commanding us to say and do. 

The Lord Always Confirms His Word

Zechariah | Chapter 4:1-14 Pt. IV ~ Episode 864:
It's important to note, the Lord always confirms His Word. Zerubbabel receives a confirming Word of what the Lord is doing; and how it's gonna be accomplished. And, this was not brought about by his [Zerubbabel's] own strength will knowledge, understanding, wisdom. Only by the Holy Spirit leading; which is prophetic for how our pattern and example, Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ functioned or operated during His earthly ministry - on Earth as it is in Heaven. This is how Jesus always functions.

The Prayers of the Saints

Zechariah | Chapter 4:1-14 Pt. V ~ Episode 865:
The prayers that are up before the Lord continually aren't just our good ideas; or what we feel like praying. It's the prayers that He commissioned, and told us to bring, that are continually before Him. You know, our confessions and prayers must be in alignment with what the Lord says for us to bring; not our good ideas and what we think are good ideas.

The Lord's Witnesses

Zechariah | Chapter 4:1-14 Pt. VI ~ Episode 866:
Jesus told His disciples, "You are my witnesses." Not just because of things they observe. Because He taught them. He poured into them. And, He trained them, equipped them, and gave them all the things that were needed; or how they were to function, to be His. In the same way, we are called to become more conformed to the image of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. 

A Matter of the Heart

Zechariah | Chapter 5:1-4 Pt. I ~ Episode 867:
When the Lord says I just want your heart, He really just wants you to be obedient. Just like parents want their children to be obedient, righteous parents want their children to be obedient and follow the words all they're asking about. How much more does our Heavenly Father desire His children to obey Him?

Jesus Brings the Blessing

Zechariah | Chapter 5:1-4 Pt. II ~ Episode 868:
The Lord requires you diligently and carefully obedience to His Voice; the Word of God. That is how we get positioned to receive, and be overtaken by, the abundant blessings of the Lord. That requires you to make a choice; either for the Lord and His Kingdom (The Blessing), or for the adversary (The curse). 

The Importance of God's Words

Zechariah | Chapter 5:1-4 Pt. III ~ Episode 869:
The scroll contains the Word of the Lord. For some it is a sweet and fragrant aroma of Christ, bringing life to those that are being saved; and for others, those that are perishing, it is the fragrance of death. There are those that are going to come into Divine alignment, being married to the Lord and His Words; they're going to be in obedience. To not just hear the Lord's Words, but to carry Them out. They will be like the wise man that built his home upon the Rock. 

Removal of Wickedness

Zechariah | Chapter 5:5-11 Pt. IV ~ Episode 870:
The Lord is the One that's removing the wickedness from the people; s far as the East is from the West. Wickedness or evil Is to be removed from the life of the Believer, as it is represented in this section of the Word; keep wickedness outside from where your life in Christ began. Walk pure before our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. 

Uprooting Sin from Your Life

Zechariah | Chapter 5:5-11 Pt. V ~ Episode 871:
The removal of wickedness, because of your live for the Lord, is what separates Believers or Christians; from those that reject Christ Jesus. The Lord always desired for you to turn to Him and repent, so He would forgive you of your sin; and you would move forward in being conformed to His Image. Not to immediately, resume or continue engaging in the action or behavior that you were just forgiven of. You must make the choice to uproot sin and wickedness from your life, replacing all uprooted things with Truth (that is the Lord; which is His Word) in your life. 

Keep Your Eyes on Jesus

Zechariah | Chapter 5:5-11 Pt. VI ~ Episode 872:
Keep your eyes on God no matter what. Do not become distracted to the left or to the right and/or follow "your gut instincts;" but, choose that you're going to be one of those that's always gonna keep going straight toward the Lord, because you continually keep your eyes on Him. Just like He commanded Joshua to meditate on My Word day and night. Keep His Word before your eyes; that way you may be prosperous, and excel, and succeed.

The Lord Adorns His Bride

Zechariah | Chapter 5:5-11 Pt. VII ~ Episode 873:
God produces His bride, a wife. That's what He's returning for. And, we (the Church and His Body) are collectively His bride. The Adversary [Satan], produces harlots; to use and discard as he whims, for what he desires. And you think about that; everyone that comes into the hands of God, they are beautified, they have ornaments bestowed upon them, they're anointed with precious oils, they're cleaned, given beautiful garments that are placed on them, and the Lord elevates them, He makes them of esteem, and He makes them precious, nourishes them, and provides everything they need to flourish.  It's like He [the Lord] treats them like a precious stone; and He cherishes them and loves them with His own life.

Built for God's Purpose

Zechariah | Chapter 6:1-8 Pt. I ~ Episode 874:
If we will listen and follow the Lord He will reveal so much to you. Just like with all of His creation, these already knew what their purpose was. which is why they were looking forward to go doing or fulfilling it. The only way that they could know what their purpose was is that the word revealed that to them. They then receive the command to go forth and carry it out; demonstrating their love for the Lord and the faith they placed in Him by actually going to carry out, And fulfill their purpose, their destiny before the Lord. You also have a purpose and destiny track before the Lord; that He desires you would fulfill out of love and reverence for Him. 

Preparing for the Lord's Return

Zechariah | Chapter 6:1-8 Pt. II ~ Episode 875:
This vision is also talking about the return of the Lord to the Earth; the end-time events, and His triumphant entry through the Eastern Gate. There are a lot of prophetic connection points here, and guidance provided for the people, and for us to understand. 

Choose God over Sin

Zechariah | Chapter 6:1-8 Pt. III ~ Episode 876:
We must choose to be done with sin; and choose to complete the process with the Lord. Becoming conformed to the image of Jesus the Christ, releasing His goodness, His glory; and receiving the blessings of obedience. 

Learning God's Ways; and Walking in Them

Zechariah | Chapter 6:1-8 Pt. IV ~ Episode 877:
Just as the Lord has told us, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding;" (NASB) we must not only learn the Lord's ways, but walk in them with a willing heart. Zechariah learned how to fellowship and commune with the Lord; and, He walked with him in those things. We too, must continue to develop in our relationship and walk with the Lord. 

Kings and Priests

Zechariah | Chapter 6:9-15 Pt. I ~ Episode 878:
The Lord has union and unity between the priesthood and the kingship; as He is, both, our Great High Priest and the King of kings. He has also made us a Kingdom of kings and priests; His own special people, to proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 

Seeing God's Vision

Zechariah | Chapter 6:9-15 Pt. II ~ Episode 879:
The Lord always gives vision, His perspective, to what He is doing; and going to do. Carnal minded man's vision is to often very different fro the Lord's vision and perspective. When the truth of God's Word, comes back against what we think and what we thought, what we desired, or what we believed; there has to be a submission of one will to the other. Will we humble ourself and take the Lord's vision? 

The Lord is Coming for His People

Zechariah | Chapter 6:9-15 Pt. III ~ Episode 880:
The Lord always meant for it to be Him and us, together; with nothing between us. He's not coming back to call brick and mortar buildings to fly into the sky, into the air; He's not transforming brick and mortar buildings into shiny new ones. He's returning for His people. 

Used as a Sign

Zechariah | Chapter 6:9-15 Pt. IV ~ Episode 881:
God is very strategic and He's moving His People into the place He wants them to be, because this is His House, this is His Temple, His Plan, His Will, His Life, and His e\Eternity. All of those things belong to Him; and, He's moving them strategically as He sees fit. The Lord always gives  His Word, which contains the details of what He's doing, and He will utilize a sign / event to confirm His Word; whether that is for guidance and direction for the current and future generations, or, to mark completion / fulfillment. 

Who is Your Fasting For?

Zechariah | Chapter 7:1-7 Pt. I ~ Episode 882:
If we misunderstand fasting, than we will inevitably end up afflicting ourself; because, we either think it will move God, or, because we think He's pleased with it. The whole point of fasting is to bring yourself into alignment with the Lord and His plan. 

Who is Your Fasting For? Pt. II

Zechariah | Chapter 7:1-7 Pt. II ~ Episode 883:
Are you fasting for yourself, for God, or for other people? I need to be doing what the Lord's called me to do. When I'm doing it because I Love the Lord and desire for Him to be pleased with me, it's not an outward appearance issue; as was brought up in the previous episode. Because, it becomes a life of obedience unto the Lord. Learn and know what God wants. And, if you just do these things, not only will you be okay and kept from the wicked one touching you, you'll be blessed and you'll prosper; if you just understand and are willing to understand the heart of God.

Obedience is Better than Fasting

Zechariah | Chapter 7:1-7 Pt. III ~ Episode 884:
Because God is Love, The Lord is always teaching and instructing those that may or may not know fully what is required; so they can choose to apply His Word to every aspect of their life, daily. It comes down to you choosing to live an obedient lifestyle, just like Jesus. Just be obedient to what the Father is commanding us to say and do; which demonstrates our love for Him, our faith in Him, and our our hope in Him for eternity.

The Grace and Mercy of God is a Gift

Zechariah | Chapter 7:8-14 Pt. I ~ Episode 885:
We should reflect on how many times the Lord was merciful, in our lifetime. And with Israel, even as gracious and merciful as the Lord is as demonstrated by bringing them back from captivity; He didn't have to do any of that. The grace and the mercy of God allowed the remission and the repentance of sin, because God is gracious and merciful. That doesn't mean you can demand His grace and mercy, in order to continue in sin. People mistake their entitlement to the grace and mercy of God.

Walking with God, in His Standard

Zechariah | Chapter 7:8-14 Pt. II ~ Episode 886:
God is good to all, and He has one standard. We will enjoy His goodness, if we walk with Him in His standard. Making the choice to walk with the Lord or not, is teaching the future generations good or evil; impacting their life and eternity. 

Disobedience Results in experiencing Consequences

Zechariah | Chapter 7:8-14 Pt. III ~ Episode 887:
The Lord talks through Zechariah to this generation about obedience being better than fasting; and that obedience is better than sacrifice. Now, the Lord's instructing them concerning the rotten, horrible, awful fruits that comes as a result of disobedience; and, the varying degrees or levels of stubbornness, and obstinate, and rebellious actions behind those things. So we can gain understanding to go with the knowledge the Lord is providing, in order to not continue in the things that are against the Lord. Let's also understand the manifold wisdom of the Lord and the spiritual laws He put in place; and His consistency.

Viewing the Lord in Right Perspective

Zechariah | Chapter 7:8-14 Pt. IV ~ Episode 888:
We, for our part, have to view the Lord in the right perspective; and not assign Him blame that He is not due, and/or take the praise and the honor that's only due to Him (the Lord).

Let God's Ways become Your Ways

Zechariah | Chapter 7:8-14 Pt. V ~ Episode 889:
Love also brings about correction, and reproof, and teaching, and training, and equipping, and so many other wonderful and necessary things. So let's also examine that in our in our own life, and throughout the world, the Lord is always talking about obedience and disobedience to teach us; because we have struggled to understand the lesson(s). You need to accept in your heart God's ways, the ways of God as being your ways, as being what you conform yourself to. Changing from what you thought and the way you were thinking and thought was going to be, to what The Lord's actually saying. This is what provides peace; which only comes from Him.

What Living in Covenant with the Lord Looks Like

Zechariah | Chapter 8:1-17 Pt. I ~ Episode 890:
When the people of God are living righteously and justly in Covenant with Him, that sight is what the Lord considers marvelous to His eyes. It looks like He's demonstrated and declared the Covenant to be from the beginning: That the Lord, He is our God; and, we are His people. 

The Lord is the Righteous Judge

Zechariah | Chapter 8:1-17 Pt. II ~ Episode 891:
The Lord knows the beginnings and ends of everything; and the details that we can't see, especially from being outsiders. Through history, God always gave time to repent; and, He [the Lord knows the length, width, breadth, and the depth of everything - especially our heart and the intentions of the actions we do. The Lord is the righteous judge. He always has been; and, He always will be. 

Covenant Child of God; or Prodigal?

Zechariah | Chapter 8:1-17 Pt. III ~ Episode 892:
When people don't understand what Covenant relationship with God is like, they resist it; and, they feel like children who are being improperly restrained. That message of the parable of the Prodigal son the Lord was talking to them about, is a great example of misunderstanding the blessings and benefits of being in Covenant relationship with the Lord. 

The Lord is Your Strength

Zechariah | Chapter 8:1-17 Pt. IV ~ Episode 893:
ThThe Apostle Paul stated that when He was weak, then he was strong; because the Lord is his strength. Let's stop relying on what we can do in our flesh and keep it from getting in the way of all the Lord provides, to accomplish all He desires to do. In our weakness, the Lord's strength is made perfect.

The Place of Blessing

Zechariah | Chapter 8:1-17 Pt. V ~ Episode 894:
The Lord always exhorts us to remain in and with Him, because this is the only place that the blessing exists. And, this is how you connect to it, tap into it for your life, and release that river flow of goodness coming all the time.

Learn from the Lord; He is Truth

Zechariah | Chapter 8:1-17 Pt. VI ~ Episode 895:
God is a good God. He's gracious, He's long-suffering; He's abounding in mercy, and goodness, and truth. So understand that if we keep ourselves near, then we have no issues. It is only when we depart, individually, that we suffer consequences. The Lord will teach us His ways, increasing our knowledge and understanding, about Himself; and the Kingdom of Heaven. 

Love Truth; Pursue Peace

Zechariah | Chapter 8:18-23 Pt. I ~ Episode 896:
From the beginning to end of Scripture the Lord's calling us to be His children, so He can position Himself as our Father and relate to us in that way. Those that do the will of the Father in Heaven, they are His children. His children absolutely love the Truth of the Lord (the Word of God); both, spoken and written.

Commit to the Lord and His Perfect Process for You

Zechariah | Chapter 8:18-23 Pt. II ~ Episode 897:
We can either choose to go through the Lord's process of refining us with a sour face, having a horrible time; or, we can choose to love Truth and Peace, and actually delight in and enjoy the Lord's perfect process. 

Brought into Covenant Relationship

Zechariah | Chapter 8:18-23 Pt. III ~ Episode 898:
Make it a point in yourself to continue to pursue God. And, to continue to walk in His ways and observe your covenant with Him; be diligent in covenant fellowship and walk forward towards the Lord, so you can be that light to the world. 

Finish the Journey with the Lord

Zechariah | Chapter 8:18-23 Pt. IV ~ Episode 899:
We must get to the place where we state, and live out, that I will attach myself to the Lord; not just demanding that the Lord come down and match with me. That I'm going to continue to finish the journey; whatever the cost is. Because that's what Jesus said and demonstrated, as our Pattern and Example, when he was here during His natural earthly ministry.

The Lord Gives Grace & Mercy to the Nations Pt. I

Zechariah | Chapter 9:1-8 Pt. I ~ Episode 900:
The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in loving-kindness and truth - This is how the Lord is toward every nation, tribe, and tongue. Let's not take His grace and mercy for granted; but let us now, determine in our hearts to accomplish everything in our Heavenly Father's will. 

The Lord Gives Grace & Mercy to the Nations Pt. II

Zechariah | Chapter 9:1-8 Pt. II ~ Episode 901:
The Lord always desires and gives His grace and mercy to all the nations. Let's continue to understand the Lord's grace and mercy, so we can understand His ways and His thoughts; and ultimately, the Lord's heart. 

The Lord Gives Grace & Mercy to the Nations Pt. III

Zechariah | Chapter 9:1-8 Pt. III ~ Episode 902:
Every nation, tribe, and tongue has always been under the Lord's grace since the beginning. The Lord did not just become gracious since Jesus' earthly ministry; He's always been gracious. The reason for Jesus' earthly ministry, is because the God is gracious.
