Morning Bible Study
When we pray, we should always ask, "Lord, what do I ask you for?" And He will give the answer to you. And, because He gives it to you, now you're praying the prayer of faith; as a result of praying what He told you to ask Him. Now the Lord has given the freedom for Him to, or to allow His Holy Spirit to, move and send ministering angels to move on our behalf.

Morning Bible Study
People should see Christ in and through us; in our lives and how we are living our lives out before the Lord. More importantly, Jesus should see His reflection and that we are living our life before Him, in a way that glorifies Him. That carries weight. Yes, others should be able to taste and see that the Lord is good when they come in contact with you. But, they're not the judge of whether or not you're living holy for God; that comes only from the One, who is the original.

We, each, must have our own time with the Lord; where He gives us His specifications. For our particular life, His fragrance and aroma being produced through us and in accordance to the way that He prescribed and determined was right. He wanted to reflect Himself through you in this way. And, the constant factor is Jesus. We're partaking of His anointing. He is the Anointed One and the anointing that is with Him. That's actually what His name means...The Messiah, the Christ. Messiah is not his last name; Christ is not Jesus's last name. It's referencing Him the person as the Messiah and the Christ. Messiah carries its own anointing. So they see anointing was upon Him to do that; He is that and He has everything. He is the Messiah and He has the anointing of the Messiah as well. We partake of that. And, the Lord reflects that through us the way He desires.

Morning Bible Study
When it comes to God, and how we interact with Him and serve and worship Him, our heart should be unchangeable towards Him in the way that we love him. We always love Him and seek to do His will;  that we are loyal to Him throughout all of our days. And in that, we should let Him make decisions for our life. Now, when it comes to the world, you should not be soft and pliable. You should be you should not be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine. You should not let the world sway you or guide and direct your life.

God chose a high priest to be a harbinger, if you will, or to signal the way we're going. This is what God is saying now. Because, if the old way was going to continue,  the Messiah would have been partaking of that. And God would have driven that forward, but He didn't. He had the half of the natural means that they knew point to what's coming; or, what they already had knowledge of pointing to the new. The the new way things are going to be done, through the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Lord wants us to have a consciousness of coming before Him, in a pure way; consciousness of the things that are important to Him. Because, God still loves us. God is not as concerned about you having a dirt particle on yourself. He is looking to see if you have a consciousness, and you're aware of, and you properly respect what he respects. It's about the heart of the man. That is of importance to the Lord. Not the outside. But, because of how we relate to the natural world that we're in. God has to give us things that bring awareness to us of who He is and we approach him properly. And, we honor and respect what must be honored and respected.

Multiple times it says about Moses, that he finished the work the Lord assigned to Moses. The Lord is also no respecter of persons. he, the Lord is looking for people that are willing to be obedient to Him. People who will serve Him fully. Who will allow Him to be God to them; and for us to be able to give him say in every area and aspect of our lives. People who will to do (carry out or fulfill) the things that he's commanded us, in the proper order, and at the proper time.

Morning Bible Study
Jesus makes His love language very clear; "If you love Me, keep My commandments." To the children of God; If we love Him, we will keep his commandments. Just as we've read with Moses. All the intricate details that God showed Moses and commanded that these things be done. Moses did this willingly and not grudgingly, because the Lord puts His seal of approval on when we come with the right attitude and heart towards him. So, as God is speaking to us, let us be people who are willing to go the distance with God.

The Lord’s House | Taking Your Place in Christ Pt. I

Morning Bible Study
It's important that you have the understanding and the truth within yourself from the Word of God. It's in your spirit; it's written on your heart, that God has a plan for you and the plan and the path that he wants you to take. That's what's good. You don't need to add what anybody else is doing or saying. You don't need to add any other opinions. If someone's speaking by the Spirit of the Lord, to you, as directed by that the Holy Spirit will make that known to you. Jesus has to be the focus. He just does because He is the one who will never fail. He is the only One who always and only ever tells the truth; and always and only ever has the right motive in what He does and says.

The Lord’s House | Taking Your Place in Christ Pt. II

Morning Bible Study
The only way you can be out of sin is to be in the Lord; because, we are the righteousness in Christ Jesus. His blood washed us white as snow, as a propitiation or a covering for us. Not a covering to continue in sin and iniquity. No, but it washed all our sin, and iniquity, and transgressions away; so we are righteous before Him. That being said, we must continue to focus on the Lord, not turning to the right or to the left; but to remain focused on the Lord. When we do this it becomes extremely difficult to sin. It's when we look right or left, when we shift our focus off of the Lord, that sin can creep in because you've given the enemy a foothold. I'm bringing that up so we can be aware of what's going on in our lives. It's okay, honestly to rightfully examine ourselves, not giving ourselves grace to practice or continuing wickedness; but to uproot that from our lives. And in doing so, not quenching the Lord and His Holy Spirit.

Morning Bible Study
As we studied the Lord's House we discovered He's a God of detail, no detail escapes Him. He's not left out anything, but it is all for a purpose. We have given a role to accomplish everything that He is doing, and to come into alignment with his plan. This study on the book of Acts is the transition from studying about the Lord's House to now more aptly looking at our role in building the Lord's House. It's a House not made by human hands. And, we will bring it out as we go through this book, how the apostles were doing something that had not been done before. They were establishing the first church; which is a significant undertaking considering the conditions they found themselves in. However, they were just given the example, in Christ, of how the work was to be done.

The apostles were men, they were humans, just like us. They also had a nature that had to be brought into submission to our Lord and Savior; and a choice a decision had to be made to go forth and carry out His will over their own. Our role as followers of Christ is to be aligned to Him, and His will, and what He's doing. And that is bringing His Kingdom down to earth and preparing it. So we, those that are doing His will, can re-enter the Heavenly Community.

What the Lord desires, is for each of us to pursue, actually come into, a relationship with Him. Knowing Him; His thoughts, His character, nature, and attributes pertaining to all things. Thinking about and applying those things in every aspect of our life.

We were discussing how the disciples now apostles had to actually go and carry out or execute the instructions that the Lord had given them. The first one was to go and wait for the promise in the city of Jerusalem to receive power from on high; which is the Holy Spirit. They had to complete their role in excellence, just as we must complete everything the Lord asks us to do in excellence, for His glory and that the Father will be delighted in us.

For 10 days, about 120 people were gathered together in one accord in prayer and supplication; awaiting to receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. The timeline for this promise was given by the Lord, to the children of Israel while they were in the wilderness. The Lord is not slack in fulfilling His promises; He is a God of details, and each detail must come to pass at the appropriate time. The time of His choosing, not ours. We must be obedient to His instructions and prepare ourselves.

The guidance of the Holy Spirit is so deeply needed, because He helps us discern and understand who we should bring into our lives, how close we should let them, and what we should listen to from them. And, it's just it's a reality we need to be prepared for. So a big part of what this podcast is about is revealing God's Word; but, also preparing us to live the Christian life and glorify God.

We know that the Holy Spirit, one of the jobs that He does in addition to what He does in the heart of the Believer, is to convict the world of sin. Not condemn, but convict and say, "Hey, you're outside of Me on this issue. Come in." And it also lets me know that we have two choices there. You either receive and allow the Lord to do the work for you. Or, try to devour the vessel and the opportunity that's being presented to you.

The people's response, when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground. And worshipped and praised the Lord saying, for He [the Lord] is good and His mercy endures forever. This is the "extension" of the Lord's house. We went from studying about the physical structure and the representation, but what the Lord always desired was that He would live and dwell in us. Yes, the fullness of the Godhead [Father, Son, Holy Spirit] living and dwelling in us; and being empowered by the Holy Spirit to carry out the work that He has given each of us to do.

There's two things that they're coming into agreement with. One is that Christ was crucified and resurrected, raised from the dead. Second they asked what they had to do as a result of verse 36, which says, "Yes, therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ." Who is he [Peter] speaking to? He's talking to all these people from literally all over the world. So they also are acknowledging that they crucified Christ. That they were all born into the curse that happened back in the Garden of Eden. They are acknowledging all those things, most importantly, their belief in Christ.

In this section of Scripture there's all this growth and maturation in the Lord; there's all these amazing things happening as the Holy Spirit moves. And, the question is, when did it happen? The short answer is when they, in faith, took their place and began fulfilling their role as being led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, You are this You are witnesses of these things. Peter now acknowledges or confesses, "We are witnesses of these things." This is what the Lord said and he [Peter] came into alignment and agreement with it; and was preaching exactly what the Lord had revealed to him about Himself, which the Holy Spirit reminded Peter of. Because Peter stepped out in faith, and was operating as led by the Holy Spirit, we see what happens when the results are entrusted to the Lord.

The message throughout Scripture has always been a gospel of repentance for forgiveness of sin. The consistency of the Lord, in this simple message can be discovered throughout the Old Testament [Law / Teaching, the Prophets, and the Writings] and in the New Testament. It continues here is continuing here by those who would receive the message; as was pointed out in a previous episode, stating the people had to receive it. There are those that chose to be in opposition. But, the message is for all who would receive. It is a right for all who would believe on His Name and confess that Jesus is Lord; they would be saved.

What is the heart condition of a person that is led by the Holy Spirit? There's a component of surrender to the Lord and what He wants to do. So, it's not a heart condition of what I can get. It's a heart condition of surrendering to God first, which permits the surrendering to the greater good (serving other people).

I appreciate that and just knowing our God's heart He gives bread for food and seed to the sower. So he does both things. And, in order for both things to happen, there has to be a production or a working in the other things that God has given us. You know, Paul was a tentmaker; not only for his own needs, but to bless the households that he was a part of as he was preaching the Word of God. And, sometimes we forget that when we we want to connect with and commune with Him, we forget as we go towards the spiritual, that or that also cares for the natural things that we need as well.

God sees the heart when He speaks with us. He always speaks to the core, or the root, of any circumstance or situation that we face. And when God brings restoration, He brings restoration to your spirit, soul, and body. Even if that includes when the Lord tells us to go and sin no more. Drag (uproot) that out of your life; driving sin out of the situation, because that's what you need to be released. He always speaks to the heart of the matter, amen.

Morning Bible Study
We must continue and press on faith. And by that I mean, being led by the Holy Spirit; saying what He says to say, doing what he does. Not quenching him. But giving Him the freedom to move and work as He wills; and for us to do His will; this absolutely matters. It demonstrates the condition of our heart towards the Lord. Especially during the miraculous moving of the Holy Spirit, keep the focus on the Lord.

We have to choose to accept it to step into that and follow Him in it and the leading guiding of His Holy Spirit. That's a choice only you can make for you. Knowing that you're able to make the right one [choice]. We're a living testimony of the Lord; of His goodness, compassion, mercy of His grace. We like everything else, all His creation. should be pointing others towards the Lord.

The God kind of love is always right, it's always pure, it's always correct; because it's founded on the Lord and who He is. God is love. And when His love through us is governed and directed by Holy Spirit, it's always distributed correctly in whatever situation you face.

The Holy Spirit made an opportunity for Himself to preach to His people, that His heart desires to gather and to offer redemption to them. The Lord's providing the opportunity to unlearn and correctly learn who He is. It's a further demonstration; proving the Lord's goodness and His mercy even to ungrateful and evil people. Allowing them the opportunity to humble themselves, to come into repentance, and to serve the Lord fully; so they may be healed and restored.

There's a part of us that should remember the God of your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They are clearly in the chronological sequence in the past of these, these people that Peter's talking to; however; that's different than reveling in the past and reliving the past. God always tells us to remember Him, and to exalt His Name, and give Him praise for the things that He has done; and to glorify Him, and be thankful. He always tells us to do those things. But he doesn't say live in the past, in your mind, like you're keeping it alive as though it's today except for remembering Him; and then taking your remembrance of Him in your gratitude towards Him, and moving forward with Him. Because he's always doing, He's always moving, He's always bringing forth life, and growth, and restoration, and healing; bringing all things to completion.

Times of refreshing also means that there's a restoration which must come as well. And restoration means there's all kinds of refreshing which must occur simultaneously, because you can't restore something without refreshing; like making it new again.

In this instance here, where the Pharisees were asking the Apostles under Who's Power and Name they were doing these things [Miracles, Teaching, and Preaching], they were denying Jesus the Christ; because they did not want to recognize Him as God.

The place of revelation comes with confidence and a boldness that says, I don't fear what man can do to me, because all you can kill is the outside of the body. I'm concerned about the one who can throw both the body and the soul into hell. The Apostles have a bigger perspective, which they received through the Holy Spirit.

Know the Lord, so you can walk with Him; which has always been His design, desire, and purpose for mankind. There's a difference between knowing about the Lord and actually knowing Him. Actually knowing Him will help someone demonstrate faithfulness, to the Lord, in all things.

Let's Be watchful and  examine ourselves. What are we actually been led by? The flesh or the Holy Spirit; and, it should always be the Holy Spirit in everything.

We can't do anything in our own strength. Jesus told us to abide in Him and let His Word abide in us. And, if we asked anything according to His work, He would do it. He made it clear that without Him we can do nothing. However, when we remain connected and in fellowship with Him, we can do all things. Jesus did nothing without the Father; and the guidance, function, and power of the Holy Spirit. So likewise neither can we, or should we attempt to do things without Him.

Praise the Lord! He  has always given us a structure. It was structure from the beginning;  and yes, it requires that every person be a participant. The Apostles weren't just delegating their authority and responsibility on the people; but they  holding themselves accountable to the Lord and to everyone else. There also comes with that structure the responsibility from everyone else, to hear from the Lord for themselves.

Obedience to the Lord in the leading of His Holy Spirit, is the key thing. And what happened as a result of receiving the Holy Spirit of promise and being blessed as a result; everyone had their needs met. Isn't that part of the role the Holy Spirit; ministering to one another's needs in love. Love your neighbor as yourself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes. Because of the Holy Spirit and those that believe in Christ operating in His love; you see the body operating as one.

Jesus said, "My sheep know my voice; and another's [a stranger's] they will not follow (John 10:27; John 10:5)." So let's make sure that we take the time to learn the voice of the Holy Spirit; then put forth due diligence and efforts to follow Him whenever He prompts us and guides us.

Scripture tells us plainly; our hope, dependence, trust, confidence, and everything in the entirety of our being must be on the Lord. He's able to uphold us, His servants, and He will deal with the situation.

God is looking for us to trust him. And in that trust, it automatically says that we humble ourselves, realizing that it's not our strength or ability; and when we are weak, His strength is made perfect. Even when God is sharing something with us, it's not because we're so wonderful and awesome that He loves us. No doubt, we are precious to him; but not because of our own righteousness. It's His own goodness in us.

Jesus educated us [His disciples] in the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) about the Holy Spirit; and against blaspheming. The Holy Spirit, He is God; He is part of the Godhead and He must be treated with reverence.

No one can call Jesus accursed and be a child of God. Likewise, no one can declare that Jesus is Lord unless the Spirit of God draws them and pours that out on the inside of them.

Morning Bible Study ~
When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, Holy Spirit does that for us. So we have it. We just have to cultivate it. And there are times where our natural flesh could have some misgivings about a situation. But, we are told also in Romans to renew our mind. So that way, we're transformed and we're no longer that fleshly earthly person who is subject to terror and fear and the connection to the natural senses that would drive us away from the things of God, but to now become like Christ in the way that we perceive and behave, perceive things around us and behave and engage in what God has called us to do.

God always makes Himself known to that person who has a heart to know Him. He will reveal Himself and the fullness of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. He's the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE. Holy Spirit always points us to Christ.

The Lord is continuing on with His will in spite of what side of human choice chooses; however, He does give us the chance to choose life. What will you choose?
